Nomado is a destination management company (DMC) specialising in high-touch active adventures across Sweden, Norway, and Finland, working exclusively with travel advisors and inbound tour operators. Since 2003, the relationships we've built with guides, accommodation partners, and local providers have been the foundation of everything we deliver.
What stays with your client is the feeling of having fully belonged somewhere. Of having stood at the top of a mountain and turned around to see how far they'd come. Of having paddled out far enough that the shore disappears and something shifts in them that does not shift back. Of having shared a simple lunch in the mountains by the sea with someone they love and know, without needing to say it, that this was the moment they will describe for the rest of their lives. That's what comes home with them.
Before a single itinerary is designed, we ask detailed questions about budget, pace, comfort, and what your client hopes to feel. Some want complete wilderness and solitude. Others want to move between remote terrain and the towns, the local restaurants, and the people who live there year-round. Some want both within the same trip. A trekking route through national parks that demands an intimate understanding of the weather and the landscape before a single step is planned. Kayaking through the Swedish archipelagos and Norwegian fjords, where the water, the light, and the silence become as much a part of the experience as the paddling itself. Ski touring in Swedish Lapland, where you may not see another soul on the mountains beyond the person travelling beside you, and where that solitude is not incidental but the entire point.
Most of the places we work with have a website and an Instagram presence, but to understand what they actually offer and whether they're the right fit for your client, you must pick up the phone. We've been making those calls for over two decades, and the calls we've made over the years and across seasons are what give the people we work with the confidence to open doors that don't open to everyone.

"Så in i Norden" is Swedish. It means extremely. As in: extremely far north. Extremely wild. Extremely well-managed. That's what we do.
Working with a DMC
A DMC is your local expert, crafting and negotiating with accommodations, guides, and service providers. Instead of coordinating each piece separately at a destination you may not know well, you work with one partner who handles local nuances, including language barriers.
What we move people through
We build every activity around the Nordic wilderness, seasons, available daylight, and weather. We don't bolt adventure onto a standard travel template. We design trips based on your client's preferences, then manage every detail on the ground to ensure they run smoothly.

We're based in our home country of Sweden, where we operate with the deepest local knowledge and the strongest supplier relationships. But the Nordics don't stop at the border and neither do we.
